I'm going to Israel with my family this coming July. We've decided to just get a car rental service once we get there to tour the country. Has anybody been to Israel before? I've found this on the net while searching for car rental companies - http://www.avis.co.il/avis/site/local/avis/english/IsraelRentals.jsp - the prices are budget friendly but do they provide good service?

Hi,
Check out also Eldan car rental, you get a discount if you book on the internet. Also you can pick up the car in one city and give it back in another. If you want to stay for a while in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem, then it might be a good idea to rent it as of when you leave from there as driving and parking around there is a bit tricky.
