Romantic getaway
Hi everyone

It will be my husbands first birthday with me since we got married and I really wanted to do something special and surprise him, it could be a weekend getaway or something different fun and romantic in Geneva, Does any one have any suggestions?

Thank you

Kris

Yeah, as Isa writes, a lot depends on what would thrill your hubby and how much travel.

There are a lot of options. Mont Blanc/Chamonix area is close to Geneva and offers number of outdoors and other get away opportunities. Evian-les-Bains and other towns on Lac Leman, Annecy, Gstaad - Montreux, Valais offer many options... from special dinners, wines, stroll thru small towns and vineyards, boat rides, etc. A bit farther away... a TGV ride to Paris, or sunrise and sunset over Lucerne lakes as the fog and clouds gets painted in color and serenity embraces you are exceptional... and you can watch these from the windows of chalets on the hills if you are not in the mood to walk that much.

And... you can always get Margaux Bordeaux and handcuffs from isa413!
