For my girlfriend's 30th birthday in January, I want to organise a weekend away with a bunch of friends. Can anyone recommend a cool wellness place (not necessarily in the mountains, could be West of Geneva too) that can accommodate upto about 20 people?
All suggestions welcome, so long as they're within a 2 hour drive.

I am from Switzerland and really, the best place I have found during Winter is in Ovronnaz les bains ! I am sure than you can find a house there for everyone or rent something but you need to do it now !!
What is fantastic : you can have bath and skiing if you want !! and it is just amazing nice beautiful... I love it !!!

Absolutely amazing when the snow is on the ground. You have to be careful about booking, book well in advance as weekends fill up. It's 1.5 hours away by car. Pays to buy the 10 or 20 passage card to the Mont Blanc tunnel as its transferable and much cheaper than paying single passage. Beats the hell out of Swiss spas for me. And there are some great restaurants nearby in La Thuile and Courmayeur, better food than anything in CH, and cheaper.
