Sardinia - Diving and site seeing - any advice?

I'm going to Sardinia for 5 days in September and wanted to know if anyone can give me advice on where best to stay (budget) and sites to see. I also want to scuba dive. I'll be in the south mainly but have kept things flexible. Thanks, Pablito

Hi I just got back from sardinia we rented a car but you should know that sardinia is not cheap at all but i mean really the best thing i can recommend is to buy the lonely planet of sardenia it gives you great tips on were to sleep, eat and activities, i dont know about diving because i dont get around to do it but this i will tell you IT IS GOURGEUOS especially Sipaggia dela Pelosa (al the way north ) around sassari sort of really worth it hope i helped
