I am researching ways to explore the vast spaces through Russia and north China... by train, sometime during 2008. I want to stop in a few major and minor towns, or lake side along the way (Baikal, for example), through the land of Yaks, ending up in Beijing. From there or Shanghai, fly back to Geneva... sit down, remember the trip while enjoying chocolate fondue.
Open to starting from Berlin and then heading east. I will appreciate suggestions or leads on how, where, when and what to do... along the way. Post or send me private msg. If you have done this trip recently, I will love to sit down with you and listen to you.
