Good Evening Everyone! 2 of my friends and I (21 yrs) I am heading from
Geneva to Lugano tomorrow--we arrive around 6:30pm and will be leaving
Saturday night. I know nothing about Lugano, and was wondering if
anyone could offer some suggestion. We want to go out tomorrow night,
have a good (relatively cheap), maybe go dancing or out to some fun
bars and
Saturday enjoy the view, soak in the culture, etc. Basically we are
looking for a mix of everything, and as much as we can fit in in 24
hours!

Hi Samantha!!
I went to Lugano in the summer and its a very nice city!!! Since Im not the kid to go out and dance i cant recommend you anything on that point, but I can recommend you something as far as accomodation is concerned: me and my friends stayed at a great youth hostel called Montarina http://www.montarina.com/index.php. The prices are very good, the place is very nice with palm trees and all, its very close to the train station and there is even an outside pool! :-) from there you only have to alk like 10 or 15 minutes to be in town!
Otherwise you can also take a boat a do a kind of tour that leads you to some other small typical ticinese villages! Its very nice!
