Heading up to Basel the evening of the 14th or morning of the 15th. Anyone heading that way or any suggestions on how to get up there cheaply???

The best way to get there is train, surely. You have a direct one to Basel that takes around 2.5 hours, and costs around CHF 130. Check the Swistzerland Trains here
You might get lucky and find someone from glocals who is driving there that day...I suggest you also post your search on the 'general' forum and the 'Basel' forum. Good luck!
