One of the trips I enjoyed most in Turkey was when I took the boat in Mersin (a city near Antalya) to Cyprus, to visit the 'turkish northern cyprus', one of the most beautiful islands in the region- also historically a very interesting place; there are also lots of casino's, entertainment etc.

Traveling in Turkey is easy and cheap. You can travel by bus (very cheap)or rent a car (possible for about 30euro a day). Enjoy your holiday!

Choice is easy- having done both, and if the sea is a priority it's obviously the Cyclades. Those who know these islands have each their favorites, so I'd ask around and read about each island. Then look at communication possibilities. True, Greece is more expensive then Turkey, but to know the Cyclades, it's worth the difference. My favorites : Naxos & Paros.
