I can advice a weekend in Bourgogne - wine tasting and wonderful food + visit of charming city of Beaune. I have the name of a wonderful B&B if you are interested.

We are just an hour and a half from Geneva. The pool is open, we have a tennis court, a big wine cellar, and the chateau sits atop a cliff with beautiful views of the rolling hills and even Mt. Blanc in the distance (when it's clear!). It's a beautiful, tranquil place.

I was planning a weekend trip as well for July the other day and I checked the ebookers offers of flights+hotel. SOOO CHEAP!! :) ... realized it was cheaper then just going to south of france with the train or to Paris :S

I'd love the details of the B&B you mentioned, have been meaning to get to Beaune and taste some Nuits St Georges since we arrived here in 2003!
