I'm wanting to buy my son a Pug Dog for Christmas and 2 kittens..:P..I'm prepared to get the cats from a shelter. Is there one in Zurich? After 2.5yrs here I still havent managed to find a breeder for Pugs. Does anyone have a contact for breeders here:w00t: cheers hh

I got this from another board. Here is a breeders list. Pugs are called Mops in German and Carlin in French. Look down the list.

The Zurich Animal Shelter is called "Zürcher Tierschutz". This is the website http://www.zuerchertierschutz.ch/de/index.html. Please adopt an animal rather than buy. There are so many abandoned animals in the shelter that need a good home and a loving owner. I adore your post Novecento... 100% with you ...Adopt, rather than buy - They need a loving home and even more so than the others - as finding themselves in their position has already been a rough ride.

even as a swiss i could not find a pug on germann mops breeder registered with papers in switzerland.
there is a pug breeder in germany, not far from the boarder between zurich and basel. they are registered and the pugs come with documents.
there website is www.mopswelpen.eu
and on there website is says you can contact them in english..
i used to baby sit pugs, thre are just adorable.
