Dog care - Kennels

Hello Forum

We've just moved to Zurich - Adliswil - with our year old terrier, Meg. It's taking a little time to settle in, especially for a dog who is used to coming out to work everyday and is now finding herself in a flat. It's a great area for long walks and ther's no trouble taking her pretty much everywhere with us. However, we're hoping to go to Australia for a couple of weeks at the end of March and Meg can't come!

I'm having a little difficulty finding kennels in this area and wondered whether anyone on glocals might have any suggestions for Tierheims that are fairly near/good/not more expensive than our holiday!!

Hi there!

I am not all that near you (about an hour away) but I am just starting up a small dog walking/sitting service in ,my area. Provided your little chap is good with other dogs and cats (I have 2 dogs and 1 cat) I can take him for his holidays whilst you have yours. I am a UK qualified Veterinary Nurse and my partner is a Vet - He'll be in excellent hands and would be walked a minimum twice a day for a minimum of 2 hours. We love really close to the Aare and so if he likes to swim he'll have plenty of opportunity. Let me know if I can be of any help to you,

Hi Dani

Thanks for the reply. I've found a kennels for her now but may need some help in the future. Having said that, she's not good with cats - thinks they're for chasing, so might not work for you anyway!

HI Dani

I am also moving to Adliswil in July and need someone to look after my dog and possibly cats for 30th July to 14th August. Are you still offering a boarding/ sitting service and could you help? My dog is very good with ctas and other dogs ..he is a 3year old Labradoodle.
