Hey Zurich people, is there anyone who has a car and can drive with me once or twice a week. I need to prepare for the driving licence exam and the schools are so expensive. I will pay you of course. I need a non automatic car and a driver who has the licence for at least 3 years without an accident record. PM me. thank you!

It is my impression that, if you don't have a licence already, then it's not legal for you to drive the car and any insurance could be void in case of an accident.. but, I could be wrong on this, of course.. or maybe you meant as a passenger?

Ferney, Thank you for the friendly concern :)
I need to explain maybe that: It is not like this. I have the right to drive in Switzerland. You might have seen those cars with the blue sign put near the car registration number on the back of the car. That means the person driving is still learning and doesnt have a licence- so be careful there :) I have done the driving courses in Swizterland, the theory test and I have a kind of a driving licence, which allows me to drive and learn driving for a period of one year. I buy this sign and can put it on any car and I am not allowed to drive alone before I do the practical exam and get the official driving licence. I would not do anything illegal or not insured and post it publicly here :) cheers :)

Yes you have a learner's license and you have to put the sign "L" on the car plus be accompanied by someone not younger than 23 years old who has been holding a license for the last 3 years. The school prices are very high, a lesson costs about 80-100 (some even 120) per hour plus around 70 as one time payment for insurance. Despite that, there are very few people who offer driving lessons and are not registered as "Moniteur agreé" with the automobiles office. I personally spent a lot of money in order to get the license and I used to look for the same as you and never found anyone offering such service. If you can then your best bet is to buy a cheap car and you will find many people who would be ready to sit with you for as little as 15 per hour. And yes you can buy a car and get insurance even if you do not have a full license, that is what I did and it helped a lot. In the long run you will realise that it costs cheaper.
