Is there any french community to be found in Zurich?
Thinking of moving from Geneva to Zurich for a job, but really don't want to give up the french culture. I put so much effort into learning French, and I'm not really motivated to learn German.

I saw a tv reportage about the expat community in Zurich some times ago, and they were mentioning a large amount of french-speakers up there.
Have a look on google, you'll find some information.

Oui il y a pas mal de français sur Zurich.
Si tu franchis le pas et déménages à Zurich, n'hésites pas à rejoindre le groupe Zurich French Speakers de Zurich pour participer à des events ou plus généralement prendre contact avec des francophones sur Zurich:

I am not sure if there is a large French community and the language isn't so widely spoken by the locals, but as i also wanted to keep up my French after moving to Zurich from Paris i can say there are of course French people to meet and be-friend! There are many many cultures.
I wasn't and am still not so motivated to learn German but alas, we all have to at some point...

Hey there,
A lot of french people, yes. I watched the same reportage and it seems to be the most important community.
Some event can be launched with the french group on Glocals as mentionned by Yoan

There seems to be a French community organising some events
