New Driver's license

Hi,

I am trying to prepare for the theory to obtain my Driver's license in Switzerland. As the procedure is relatively tedious, divided in as many as 5 steps, for which the first is to take a First aid training(Nothelfur Kurz) for atleast 10hours, conducted in German. My level in German in non existant.

Do you know if there is a possibility to get this certification English anywhere near Zurich? How much does it cost? Even getting it in German, has a variable price between 250Fr to 350Fr for the 10hours?

I have contacted Strassenverk Zurich who suggested to contact other Cantons where it can be conducted in French and found out that in Geneva it is possible to get it in English. The health service suggested if we can find atleast 10 people, they may be able to travel to Zurich for conducting this training course. Now, If anyone is in a similar situation as myself, please let me know and I can try to convince the First Aid group from Geneva for this. I want to do this asap, so please dont hesitate to contact me

looking forward to a maximum of information from glocals and if you like share your experiences for obtaining the first Driver's license, cost, driving schools and etc.

Thanks

best Regards
