Please return my wallet

I have attended New Members Meetup in Zurich this evening, 24 February at Westside cafe and have misplaced my wallet.

It is dark sand (yellow) in colour, leather and all cards are issued in the name of Anna Moskvina. I don't care about the cash, but if rest of it could be returned that would be highly appreciated.

Would very much appreciate if it could be returned to me.

It could be dropped by the westside cafe or the police.

Thank you, Anna

Sorry to hear that happened. Unfortunately, pick pockets do exist in Switzerland. I have known several women who have had things taken from their purses at Starbucks and other cafes, it seems to be more common than people would expect. Once, in Winterthur, I saw a guy steal a woman's purse at the train station, she left it at a table for a minute and the guy grabbed it and took off, luckily, someone tripped him and they stopped him.

On another note, do not assume your home is safe from thieves either. After living here for six months, our apartment in Wollishofen was broken into and they took all sorts of items (video camera, clothes, jewelry, etc.) That was in 2000, but every so often you hear about break-ins.

Do take precautions to protect your personal belongings, Switzerland has low crime rates, but crime does still happen here.

Last time I went for TT some guy had the same issue. Two options - someone regularly coming to to steal from that place or an insider job.
