Hi, I know it's too late to buy your train tickets, I was just wondering where you found train tickets to milan so cheap? I'm going from Geneva next week and can't find anything cheaper than an easyjet flight!

You can find the 19euro offer Zurich milan on trenitalia..

www.trenitalia.it

is a special offer called "tariffa smart"

It's a bit trick to book on the website if you don't know italian and I think they just accept credit cards issued in italy...  but it's worth a try.

Just select your full price train first... and only  in a second screen the system will ask you for traveller name as well as a price level choice ( in italian called "tariffa" )

You can the choose "tariffa smart" and if the train you choose is still available on that low price in the low right corner of the screen a green button will appear...

actually you do not need to buy them on the Italian website, you can buy them normally on the CFF website. In order to find the smart price available though, you usually have to buy them a couple of months in advance.
