what are peoples preferences here? 

What day for Play suits you? Week day or weekend?

If week day then I'm assuming most people would prefer evenings. Last time I organised a Tennis round-robin club we always played on a Monday or Tuesday night as these were the less busy evenings of the week. Does that work?

If people reply then I'll see about booking a court or 2 within the next week or so. I'll let you know cost beforehand.

As far as playing standards are concerned there's no need to worry - just have fun. The more people the better the chance of getting a balanced match, early days there are always mismatches - which is fun anyhow ;-)

I like playing tennis a lot. In the company I work we have outdoors tennis courts, so we can organize a double/single game. Time is 45 min maybe longer if we play late in the evening, about 19,00. Who wants to join?? the court is in Horgen...

I will be on holiday for 2 weeks but once i am back we can certainly play tennis together. I was even thinking to book a tennis court for the season at Lengg, do you know it? It is in Zollikon, Golden coast, close to zurich tiefenbrunnen. Would it be convenient for you? They even have in door courts which is perfect for the winter season.

@ Nina: Woudl you be interested as well?

I have tried to look around for courts to rent but all sites are in german and many seems to be only for members at the clubs.

So It would be great if Francesca or Vic.B could suggest somewhere to go :)

Here is the place I play. You do not need to be a member, but you have to reserve a court as they are usually always booked.

If anyone would like to play, I try to go once a week, depending on the weather.

I know a court where you can book online (http://www.mytins.ch) but I think you can only book if you are a member of ASVZ (academic sport club of Zurich).

Here is the answer of TC Belvoir

"You cannot pre book courts in our club. But during the day you can go to the
clubhouse and if courts are unused you can book them for CHF 20.- per hour.
If you want to book in advance you have to go to the open courts of the city
of Zürich next to our club."

If the weather if fine tomorrow, we could meet at 3.pm there and see if there are some courts unused ?
