Swiss is THE country for hiking and walks in nature.
There are a lot of beautiful places around Bern and most of them are easily reachable by public transport. The main purpose of this group is to bring people together, who have the desire to explore the nature and exciting places around Bern on their own feet.
Especially during the summer time, when the days are longer and dawn comes late, there is normally still plenty of time (even after a day of work) to walk to some nice places in the vicinity of Bern and come back to civilization before nightfall.
