Every 2 years your car needs to have an antipollution test to certify to the Canton of Geneva that your car is within their antipollution limits. This test can cost upwards of 80 CHF plus you normally have to make an appointment. I just happened to find a nice old gentleman with a simple garage who will do the test for 40 CHF in 10 minutes without an appointment. I would highly recommend you check this place out.

Directions - Get off the Route de Malagnou at the Route de Sous Moulin. Turn left at traffic light and go over the bridge. Immediately after passing the FIAT dealership on your right you will see a small driveway and a sign saying Test Antipollution 40 CHF. Turn into the small driveway. The garage is the first one on your right. It will have brown wood doors with glass windows.
