Introduction
Carpe Diem (Suisse), (CDS) was established by Rebecca Williams in 2012, with the aim of providing professional coaching to both private individuals and corporate structures looking to develop and support their employees further, by encouraging creativity and positivity .
Coaching is a powerful and transformative process that empowers individuals to help them achieve their desired goals, albeit within a corporate environment or at a personal level. Working on a one to one bespoke basis, CDS’ approach builds absolute trust with the client, allowing them to gain new perspectives and focus in a supportive, non-judgemental and, at times, challenging environment.
Rebecca Williams
Rebecca Williams is a qualified ICF (International Coach Federation) certified coach, with 18 years experience within the Human Resources and Recruitment domain. Following graduation, Rebecca started her career in London and Edinburgh, before moving to the Swiss Romande region of Switzerland in 2001.
During her career, Rebecca has worked closely with individuals both locally and internationally, at all levels from Senior Executives to students and has built a reputation for delivering a highly professional service, combined with a sensitive, innovative and trustworthy approach. Rebecca has delivered training workshops, presentations and career assessments using the TMS (Team Management Systems) approach and has recruited and relocated Senior Executives internationally into Switzerland, as well as recruiting into local corporate subsidiaries such as Uruguay for example. Latterly Rebecca was Resourcing Manager for Coutts Private Bank in Geneva.
During her Executive Search and HR career, Rebecca came to realise that much of her time was actually spent coaching candidates, line managers and Board members, in tandem with ‘trailing spouses’ and thus decided to further develop this skill, by completing the Certificate of Professional Coaching Practice in the UK, prior to establishing CDS.
Building on Rebecca’s experience in the areas of Recruitment, Human Resources and Career coaching within the domain of Banking and Financial Services, Rebecca has a fundamental understanding of the local Swiss market and the challenges that companies face. Issues such as career transitioning or career change are prevalent in the current environment, alongside the need to retain valued staff members by developing leadership skills and further develop their personal growth.
