Hairdressers in downtown Geneva

I walked in for a blow-dry and was greeted with a lot of cheer in this busy tiny salon in rue madelaine. Its a bit stuffy because it definately gets over-crowded, no coffee or water is served, no head massage (which I would have loved) but you can really overlook those points because the blow-dry is one of the best I've had in Geneva. Ask for Irene (who looked after me) or the blonde lady Isabelle who seemed to be doing an amazing job on another client behind me.
I love this place and have been going for years (they are not English speakers but make themselves understood with good humor). The service is friendly my hair angel Davina is simply a sweetheart ! The team are dedicated and will do everything to give you the look you want and will not rush the job no matter how busy they get (and boy do they get busy)! A solid 5 stars from me and a big recommendation to all who want a reputable salon in the heart of Geneva next door to C&A (rue Madeleine).
I was recommended this hairdresser by the nail salon I went to and trusted their judgement so made an appointment. It was downtown so that was a plus as it is almost impossible to find hairdressers in the city (or Im blind). The salon is tiny and was far too hot and uncomfortable and the smell of hair straightening products made me quite ill and my eyes watered the whole time I was there. The team do not speak one word of English which was surprising! The blowdry was good and I think I would use them only until I find a nicer and larger salon (with air con)!
