This new Dandy barbershop in Geneva is very cool. i would have never expected a place like this in Geneva: it's a traditional barbershop English style, with 2 young stylists who are very professional and expert on both hair and traditional shaving. Excellent service list, unique ambient with bricks, woods and a vault ceiling, whisky bottles, music with vinyls...and a beer offered with the cut!! The service is excellent and all the staff is very nice and multilingual: they speak English, French and Italian. Absolutely adviced, a must try.

I talked my 2 sons and my husband to go to Dandy's and it was a terrible mistake to have changed from their normal hair dresser. First of my sons aged 11 and 13 had a terrible 'over-cut' child like hair cut not at all the stylish long at the top and short in the back style they have so long managed to maintain.... all the barber was supposed to do was follow the previous cut (my oldest son cried when we walked out)! My husband had the dandys special (nothing special about it) no hot towel ... I give them a 1 because my son who never cries over nothing 'cried over his ridiculous short crop hair'!
Well well well. This place is very very nice and unique in its kind but often, with thesuccess, bad changes are at the horizon. Since my last visit few weeks ago I have discovered that the price for the package "hair + beard" is now 70 CHF (from 60 CHF) and the beard is not anymore a cut but only an adjustment on the sides. They sell it for a 45 minutes service but the last 2 times the service did last only 20. Another problem, I have booked with my barber Bertrand but he was not there and nobody tells you why. I guess I have to find a new barber in Geneva. I know also that other people are unhappy about the changes.
I echo the other comments. Just got back from getting a haircut and straight edge shave. The barbers both speak English and it might be the best haircut I've ever received. They are pros. I booked online and it was super easy. I recommend making a reservation as they don't rush through their patrons. As others said, the vibe is super cool, they provide beverages as well (got a great espresso and biscotti) and great music. Can't recommend highly enough if you are an expat looking for a great barber (although I sort of wanted to keep the secret to myself)
Great place and great atmosphere, with cold beer, rock music played on vintage vinyls, impressive collection of men's books and magazines.

Lovely place: the environment is indeed very cool and the barbers very professional. Great service and great welcoming with a beer!
