L'île de bien-être means The island of well-being, and this is so true: I just wanted to have my nails polished nicely but I got so much more than I was hoping for! I had my nails polished in a cosy salon by a very professional lady, who was very friendly and caring. I arrived to them being very sad, and I left them with not only beautiful nails but also with a wide smile and a glow in my eyes.
Apart from nail care they also offer Aura-soma (color therapy) and make personalized crystal jewellery and hand painted mandalas. As I am vegan, I took my own cruelty-free varnish, and they were not only OK with that, but they even offered me a special price! The owners said that if more vegans go, they would stock Benecos nail polish, a cruelty free brand that you can otherwise order online or purchase in the Alna healthstore or in the Helveg restaurant.
