A very harsh review indeed. Cressy is certainly not perfect – the biggest problem being the crowd. But the installations are nice (I speak about the spa section, not about the fitness, that I don’t know) the decoration, with all these palm trees, is great and I never saw any piss in the basins. Saying that it feels like swimming in a toilet is such an absurd exaggeration that it leaves me speechless

The complex was built as a hospital for handicapped kids and now serves as a local community spa. For the local community it is okay, but the 22 CHF entry is much too high for the public. The pool has a lifeguard, but that does not stop the many very young children from pissing in the pool. You feel almost as if you are swimming in a toilet. The gym is also so old that the machines look dangerous to use. The sauna and steam room are good, but the Odorium smells like a toilet...which is not what the Romans intended. In short the HUG, which runs this, has rebuilt a hospital rehabilitation center into an overpriced semi-spa. I guess they ere doing what they do best, overcharging for for subpar health treatment. One good point is the massage. It you get over having to go down to the garage, you can get a pretty good massage...although Paques is much better. My advice try Migros Vitam Parc in Nydens for a real spa and pool experience or Paques for just the sauna and massage experience.
