I ve been there for the opening and I was a bit dissapointed, then I red the different comment and was not really keen on trying again this place.

My best friend wanted to go there for his bday so no choice...

I was this time surprise in a very nice way.

The team has changed, they are all very welcome and nice, the atmosphere is still relaxing and cosy and big effort had been done on the quality of the food.

Regarding the price, it s totally correct regarding the standing of the place and the location : place neuve.

I definetly recommand you totry.

The place has a very nice interior with a posh setting. The drink prices are little costly but the drinks are wonderful.

this place is considered to be one of the unique places in geneva, and stepping into that it one can quickly see why. nice interior, importance to detail, some may say posh. i was there last wednesday and from a previous visit i was positive about the little buddha bar. however, i wondered how empty it was that evening, only about 6 people in the whole bar. but thought to myself: "okay, geneva on a wednesday... what do you expect"? in any case, by the end of the evening, i could understand very well why it was (probably is) so empty on most days. being aware that the drink prices are on a very high level i must say that about CHF 24.- for a small champagne cocktail one would normally only shake his head. anyway, that was expected. furthermore, they put practically no alcohol in the longdrinks they make. i found myself zipping on ice tea instead of the long island ice tea i had ordered. if you kindly ask for a second, a bit stronger one, you'll get an arrogant smile from the waiter first and then a second drink that is even weaker than the first one.... final string of the story: when i paid the bill they cashed in tips all by themselves, yes true, returning a chf-bill back to me, well knowing that their invoice was not a round amount.... only after explaining my concern in detail they gave in, but did not even apologize. quite clear why...
for me it was definitely the last time in this bar.
i recommend it only to people who don't care about money, service nor drinks. however, if your interest is to hang out in a posh, trendy and overrated bar then this is the place for you!
