I can't stress enough the terrible customer service I've experienced when I cancelled my parking lease with Livit SA. I wrote a cancellation email in July 2016, notifying that we are leaving by the end of the year. After numerous attempts of contact, kindly asking for a successful receipt of the cancellation, I didn't hear anything from Livit until end-of-September, when the cancellation deadline was passed. They then informed me that they only consider correspondence per fix mail, and therefore my notice as per July (meeting the deadline) was not valid. I am shocked and deeply disappointed that this was not communicated to me in July (my first outreach), nor in August. Livit SA has the legal terms on their side, however, I am shocked and repelled by their total lack of customer service and customer respect as you expect from a well-known company. We now have to pay two moths of full rent (460 CHF), when we're not even residing in Switzerland, which could have been totally avoided if Livit had the decency to answer my request in July. And in case you are wondering, no apology was ever offered, nor any attempt of meeting us half-way and find a feasible solution. Based on this, I recommend all expats and future tenants, to strongly consider other options before entering an agreement with Livit SA - they are highly unprofessional and not worth your time.
