"This is cool motel near the EPFL in St. Sulpice. The rooms are nothing special – it’s a motel! But I can still recommend it because it’s cheap (about 100CHF/night) and there’s a sunny pool where you can have barbeques in the summer. St. Sulpice is about a 7 minute drive from Lausanne so if you have a car, this place is convenient (there is free parking). There is also a great restaurant called Restaurant au Petit Port about a 2 minute walk towards the lake. Have lunch on the terrace and order the meuniere de perch because it’s the best in Lausanne."
