I have never been quite so badly treated as a customer and ended up having to walk out -- with old nail varnish removed from one foot. Having been made to wait for over 30 minutes (yes, this sometimes happens and was not the issue), I made the fatal “mistake” of politely asking a few questions about the different nailvarnishes and how the semi-permanent nail polish is applied & removed and in which order. I was simply looking for reassurance for the process, having only had this done once before. Clearly, the 25-year-old rather full-of-herself owner took great offense at being asked fairly innocuous questions by a 40-something year old and started accusing me verbally of being a sceptic, of not trusting her, of questioning her training – and then recommended that given “the situation” that I should only have the nail polish applied. She was condescending, completely unprofessional and extremely rude. She has a great deal to learn about customer service and listening to and reassuring her clients. A real pity, because the location is good, and the shop looks nice (hence 1 star). Appearances can be really deceiving...
