Open Call for Youth training program on International Human Rights Mechanisms
The International Alliance for Peace and Development (IAPD) organizes a Youth training program on International Human Rights Mechanisms in January in (Geneva, Switzerland)
The training program is designed for youth from 18-30 years old who are interested in promoting peace and development and human rights
The International Alliance for Peace and Development (IAPD) is a non-governmental organization composed of 20 different organizations from 17 different countries (Europe, Africa, and the Middle East) and headquartered in Geneva.
The main goal of the IAPD is to bring together youth from all over the world and raise awareness on peacemaking and to mobilize efforts to make initiatives engaging in the development processes and promoting peace.
The IAPD has designed a 5-day training program merges between classroom sessions and practical participation only for youth on the UN Human Rights Council Mechanisms for protecting human rights and that is on the margins of the 35th Universal Periodic Review session in the UN.
The IAPD held two training program about International Human Rights Mechanisms in 2019 ,the first one was in June-July, the Second one was in November

The training takes place from 27-31 January in Geneva
The training language is English only.
Deadline to apply: 24 January 2020
10 people for the workshop.
IAPD will not participate the flight neither the accommodations in Geneva for the attendees and no remuneration for the training day.
