Stars for Sicilian the best pasta dish ever ... i found the service is good and most of them are friendly (except the owner you have to be blond ...)

Acceptable pizzas, good pastas, excellent penne alla siciliana, good service (friendly in a totally italian way!).

"I agree service is not their strong point. Food is ok. though i ordered once some penne a la something and got penne al dente, was not cooked properly, didn't go back after that."

"Worst service ever. The waiter tried to charge us five francs for a carafe of tap water. When we questioned the charge he said it was written in the menu, though he couldn't find it. His response: well I'm telling you now. That's the last time I go there."

"Confirmed: Penne a la siciliana is their best dish. I don't think the service is bad, they just like playing a weird I'm a noisy-italian game, but they are friendly."

"Penne alla Siciliana....ummmm...garlic, eggplant, sauce, mozzarella, what more 2 say? They do it US style too, they give u a second helping! The place is a little small, especially if u have children but overall great food at ok prices!"

"The best pasta in town (especially the house specialty: Penne Sicilian), but also the worst service in town. But the food is so good...I eat there atleast once a week."

Just horrible. Their tomato sauce is almost uncooked and very acid! My friend's pizza was not cooked either and the waiters were unfriendly...

"2 words : PENNE SICILIENNE !!
that's it, but they're the best i've ever had; service is so-so, but i'm guessing it's because the place is always packed... which is no excuse, of course."

One goal if you go there: try the Penne siciliana. Forget the rest. And have no expectations for the service and you might be for a good surprise from time to time.

"I like this place, try going especially on a football night with Italy playing and you get to see hugs and songs and pure merriment from the staff. I think one of my friends even changed his shirt with one of the friendly staff.. :) The food is good and the atmosphere is warm. Its a bit cramped as every single available space seems to be crammed with tables but its a very friendly place to be."

"Have been there once. Got a lasagne that was frozen in the middle, told the waiter who replied Et alors?, ´got it heated (same portion of course) and thrown down on the table in front of me. Guess who didn't get a tip? Never going back"

"This place has been going downhill faster than a skier out-of-control. It's far from being the best pizza in town, the staff are charmless and the last time I visited, the olive oil that tasted like peanut oil. Not keen to go back."

"How in an Italian restaurant there is no tiramisu?
Moreover the profiterols are made with tube creme and so called chocolate dressing. I suggest you only eat there sicilian penne."

"I only go there for the best pasta a la siciliana in town.. It's just outstanding, and the portions are HUGE. The rest is standard."

"I am mix feelings about this place. The pizza is good. yummy. one of the best in Geneva and some of the other plates are not bad either ... but as an italian i have to say that the variety in the menu is lacking and lots of things proposed are what in italy 'comfort food' (example lasagne, gnocchi and other kind of pasta that didn't taste to me as freshly made). Pizza and Meat are great thou."
