This newly opened american style cafe offers a wide variety of breakfasts, bagels, sandwiches, hot dogs and burgers for a very reasonable price. It is set right across from the university (uni-mail) in the Plainpalais neighborhood.

Did the BUYCLUB with the family (2 adults + 2 kids) tonight, its rare I do a negative review as it can hurt business so I do recommend you go and try it for yourself. The hamburger was OK. The fries were thin and dry, the salad was left on the plate as it did not look fresh, the dessert was a scoop of ice-cream which the kids tried and left with one word 'yuk' (it was full of ice and tasted off) my kids NEVER leave ice-cream uneaten, the cookie was mega hard and certainly not fresh. The place is a bit dirty which is a shame and puts you off a bit. If you do go ask before you order what is fresh on that day you might be lucky and have a nice experience - unfortunately this place needs improvement. Will not go back and have given the second voucher away so hopefully they get a better experience.

I had the voucher from Buyclub, we went Sat evening, only 1 chef and 1 floor/bar person so the service was slow. The food was very good, I wanted the cheese cake but already at 21h they had none, we took the hot brownie which was delicious. They could take more care of the place, the way to the bathroom was so dirty and full of useless stuff and the same behind the bar as its gives the place a very shabby look.

Love their chicken & cheese sandwich and the blueberry pancakes! Don't like relish so asked them if I could have the sandwich without which was fine.
Also it's right across from the Uni so easily accessible, and they do take away which is a big plus.

Not a massive selection of wine but then again, why would you order wine at an american dinner? Overall I will be back.
