I love this coffee shop! It is my favourite place to do work. The food is great, the coffee is so good and the owner is really friendly. It is such a nice change from most coffee shops in the area that feel really impersonal. This is also the only place in Geneva have found that has home made gluten-free baking that actually tastes amazing.

After hearing about the existence of ube cake (purple yam cake) from my friend Cecil, I went there today for lunch and tried it! it was delicious, accompanied by a perfect espresso :-) the plat du jour (asparagus risotto) was small but just the right size. And John the owner was a great host. I highly recommend Viverra.

After reading the reviews on here and constantly searching for a good coffee in Geneva I decided to head down to Viverra this morning... The coffee is very good, the best I have had in Switzerland so far - If you are in search of a good coffee I would check this place out.

I agree. This is a jewel in Paquis! Espresso is very very good! I think it is because it is produce by a manual traditional machine rather than automatic one you can find in all of other coffee shop. I think this is the best espresso in town! The have nice cakes too. My favorite is "ube cake"- a cake from the Philippines and banana walnut cake "fait maison". The ambiance of the coffee shop is very artistic with art exposition. The library is small but full of good books.

What a great place!
Cafe begin with tanins to finish up with chocolate notes, as a Colombian I really appreciated this combination. Then I got plenty of books to chose how to complement my coffee: Nietzsche, Malraux, Azimot, Ionesco; Very good costumer service, in a central part of Geneva. I will pass every time I got some spare time around paquis.
