If dissatisfied with a Buy Club offer. you should always complain to Buy Club as they are brilliant at sorting these issues out.

About Aveda Geneva's Old Town: I'm going there since more than 5 years and they are really professionals younger and old staff. Their products are excellent! Indra is great.
What I definately like is that we do not need to talk about anything if you don't want and just enjoy and relax. It's a moment just for you.
TRY again and you will no REGRET it.

I thought I was getting a fantastic deal via BuyClub; however, what I got was a junior stylist using my hair for training purposes. My cut was awful and needed to properly be corrected. I will NOT be returning - and nor should you!

I have been coming to Aveda Old town three times with Buyclub Voucher.

I was normally treated correctly and the hairdresser was very professional. It took her a long time to cut it, and she was doing a proper brushing.

Last time i went, my experience was completely different. The hairdresses was doing references to the voucher, and make me feel as a second class client. After the treatnent, she spent less than 5 mins in cutting my hair, and when i requested to do the brushing, she dried my hair without any brushing and it was still a bit wet when i came out. It was really rude!

I just would like to say that my previous experiences were excellent, but after the last one, I will not ever recommend this place

This was my first visit to Aveda in the Old Town. I wrote an email to enquire about availability for a hair appointment, as it was after 7pm. I received a reply the next morning asking to call to confirm, which I did. I was left absolutely baffled at being almost shouted at by the lady on the phone who stated no one informs her of emails, and why did I not call instead. I was tempted already to cancel and not continue with the appointment. So rude!

The haircut I got was good but ntohing exceptional, and the lady who cut my hair was nice, but for the price they charge, and to be told off on the phone, it's definitely not worth it.
Will not be returning.

Went with a BuyClub coupon and felt clearly treated like a second-grade client. Scalp massage, while part of the deal, was "forgotten", the blow dry was not done "to let my beautiful curls express themselves". I was with a friend ans she too was dissatisfied with the results. If that's how Aveda wants to get new customers, they're failing - I won't be returning, even at BuyClub prices, and would not recommend the place.

visited aveda basel today for first time. Had colour with Virginie and cut with Rashid. Both senior members of staff so quite expensive but extremely happy with results.
Both speak good english so no problems explaining exactly what I wanted done. Fabulous hand massage whilst waiting for colour to develop.
Definately recommend the stylists I had and will be back soon.

Just terrible! A decent cut, although I specifically asked her not to cut anymore and the woman simply continued. However, the coloring was just terrible; it is as if she didn’t do anything. I asked for full highlights. I have never been so disappointed. I really preferred my hair before I went to the salon. After the 3h I wasted, my roots were showing and the color looked brownish although I asked for blonder highlights. I loved Aveda hair salons in Cambridge, US and London but here it's just a total waste of my time and money. To top it, the attitude of the owner, I’m guessing he was the owner or managed was not very professional, he was so rude. I’ve tried many places but the best for me is Tifani at Louis Philipp coiffure.

I love Aveda products so when I arrived in Geneva 3 years ago I went there for a cut and colour. The colour was perfect but the cut that Sally gave me was awful! I wanted a trim and she nearly shaved my head. Then I tried the Italian guy next time around (Sally was away). He never spoke a word to me (and I speak Italian so that wasn't the problem)..he was just so wrapped up in himself. Needless to say I didn' t go back again.

Tried their massage - got a stiff neck AFTER having the massage - they were OVERbooked thus put me in a room with a massage bed without a 'hole' to put our head... so DON'T go there for massages!!!

"Sally is delightful, listens to what you want and does great colour, the other stylists (Italian and rude) I wouldn't bother going back to. If you can get the lovely Sally - go!, if you can't, go elsewhere."

I have been going to Aveda for a couple of years and love them. I would highly recommend either Magda (Italian/French speaker) or Sally (English speaker)

One of the few places I have found in Geneva where a stylist (Magda) knows how to cut curly hair. I am always very pleased with my hair cut and Magda is friendly and professional.

"Great products, nice staff but ignored my statement that I was growing my hair and needed it just tidied - chopped huge amounts of it off anyway - distracted service and the salon was empty. Wouldn't go back."
