A happy 2023! Is anyone up for a hike to kick off the new year? If it were so, let's venture into the heart of the Black Forest and discover Haslach im Kinzigtal: the town is part of the Jakobsweg and boasts a picturesque center with half timbered houses; in winter it is famous for its nativity scene installations. It will supposedly also host an event in the afternoon, when the Three King singers will appear on the market square and give their greetings with traditional songs.

Plan then is to meet at noon and walk until 3pm, along a shortened version of the Devil's trail:
