Le Chasseron

We ascend an easy circular trail past the Pierre de la Paix to Le Chasseron with excellent 360° views of the Alps from Mont Blanc to the Eiger and of the Jura. We lunch at the summit restaurant. There are no vertiginous passages.

This is an International Ski Club of Geneva (SCIG) hike.
I need to know:
1) Your full name
2) Are you a SCIG member?
3) Have you already done any comparable outings this year?
4) An email address you read on the weekend.
5) Will you eat at the summit restaurant? (I need to make a reservation.)
6) Your mobile number.
To bring: snowshoes (depending on snow conditions), snacks, water, boots, hat, warm clothes, rain gear, sun screen, sun glasses and collapsible ski poles optional.
Buy your train ticket individually in advance: Geneva to Les Rasses and Les Cluds to Geneva.
Price: CHF 5 club tax (CHF 15 for non-members) plus for train ½ fare 48.60 CHF, full fare 97.20 CHF.
Maximum participation: 18 persons

Elevation gain/ loss: +481/-455 m
Walking time: About 3 hours

In case of snow/rain: The hike will be cancelled in case of bad weather. If there is snow, snowshoes may be needed. Bill will send an email with a decision midday the day before the hike.
