Hike to Tête des Muets (2075m) + Tête de Sallaz (2026m)

Walking time : ca. 7.5 hours + small breaks.
Level required :
Fit mountain hikers used to walk all day at good space on rocky terrain.
Carsharing and meeting point :
Meet at 7h30 in 1255 Veyrier on Sunday 2 October, at the last stop of bus n° 8 direction “Veyrier Douane” (coordinates : 46.167324, 6.186751).
(careful, do not take the other Bus 8 in direction “Veyrier Tournettes”). The bus takes ca 30 minutes from central Geneva. Pls check on www.tpg.ch
Carsharing cost : 9 EUR per person. The car drive will take ca 1 hour.

HOW TO REGISTER
By email to [email protected] by cob Friday preferably (or by Sat. 10am latest) indicating your tel number.
You will need to fill in a form : either for the day only (5 EUR) or alternativey you could take a yearly membership (51 EUR) valid until August 2023. The fee is to pay in cash on the day. The forms can be found here, but I will explain. https://www.randonneeoxygene74.com/adhesion/ . This cost comes in addition to the carsharing fee. Still a great deal !
Confirmation is subject to fitness/experience and available spaces in the cars.
Please bear in mind that you will need to wake up early (around 6am...?) to be at the meeting point in time.

Required equipment :
Good mountain shoes, a light rucksack with clothes for hot & cold (and rain), poles, gloves, sun hat, headband or woollen hat, drink, picnic, sunglasses, sunscreen... and if you have some, bring some crampons and guetres
