The weather forecast for Sunday is not too warm, so let’s go far a walk!

We will meet at the stop of bus 8 at Rive (Rue d'Italie) at 10h20 and take the 10h31 bus direction Veyrier-Douane, getting off at Pont-Sierne (you can also take the same bus from Cornavin Station at 10h23, or come directly to Pont de Sierne by 10h41, for public transport connections see https://www.tpg.ch).

We will walk along the Arve river, passing by the dam at Berges de Vessy and the sports park Vessy. We continue to the Bout du Monde stadium and follow a small trail that will take us to Carouge.

For the picnic, take food and drinks along, plus something to sit upon.

Distance: about 9 km. and almost completely flat - regular walking or running shoes are fine.

We will take it easy and walk for about 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Expect to be back in town around 15h00.
