4) An email address you can read on the weekend.

From Pointe de la Plaine Morte we have a view of the large Glacier de la Plaine Morte below us. We have impressive high mountain views. We hike slowly down and then up to Wysshorelücke (2851) and then to a small unnamed summit at 2885. This is an opportunity for people who are not used to hike in high mountain environments to experience high mountains.
To bring: water, picnic, snacks, boots, hat, sweater, rain gear, sunscreen, sunglasses, and collapsible hiking poles (optional).
Maximum participation: 12 persons
Length: 5 km
Maximum altitude: 2900 m
Elevation gain and loss: 440 m,
walking time: About 3-4 hours, slowly.
Transport: trains, a funicular, and two cable cars
Leader: Bill Larson [email protected]
Maximum: 12 people
In case of bad weather: If the weather forecast is bad, we will cancel. I'll send an email midday the day before the hike with my decision.
Confirmation or cancellation of the hike: If the weather is bad, we will cancel. About midday the day before the hike, Bill will send an email to those who signed up to confirm or cancel.
