Wild & Still: A Women’s Mountain Morning

Saturday, October 3rd, 2026 @ 09:30
, Geneva
Saturday 3 October | La Givrine to St-Cergue | Around 4½ hours
Anyone fancy a beautiful day out in the mountains?
We’ll meet at La Givrine and walk through the Jura landscape towards Cabane Rochefort, before continuing through Les Fruitières de Nyon and down to St-Cergue.
It’s a beautiful point-to-point hike of around 9 km, with forest, open pastures and wonderful views towards Lake Geneva and the Alps.
This is mostly a chance to walk, talk, meet some interesting women and enjoy being outside together.
Along the way, we’ll stop somewhere beautiful for coffee and cookies. I’ll bring some to share, and you’re very welcome to bring your own snack or small picnic too.
We’ll also take a few moments for silence and stillness, with Tibetan singing bowls and a little sound in the mountains before we continue on.
The walk takes around 3½ hours, with approximately 240 m of ascent and 400 m of descent. It isn’t technically difficult, but you should be comfortable walking for several hours on mountain paths.
Women only, with a small group.
Bring good walking shoes, water, layers for the weather, and something light to sit on if you have one.
We’ll finish in St-Cergue, where there are easy train connections back towards La Givrine and Nyon.
Exact meeting point and practical details will be shared with confirmed participants.
Come for the walk, the mountains, the company, the cookies… and a little stillness along the way. 🌿
