Full Moon snowshoeing Kuklos to Leysin (not Lausanne)

Hello,
Let’s take the “telecabine La Berneuse” (14.50 CHF) and watch the sunset near restaurant Kuklos (closed). We start walking after sunset (18h15 ish) just as the full moon raises. By 19h should be dark and hopefully we will see the snowed landscape reflecting the moonlight. It will take us 2h for return to Leysin (back by 21h latest in Leysin). It’s about 7km and 600m descent.
Bring warm clothes (multiple layers, gloves, beanie hat, etc): we will be at 2000m, it will be cold and get even colder after sunset (negative temperatures, maybe a bit of wind). Last gondola up is at 16h30, so we will be not moving so much for about 1h15 - be prepared for cold!
Bring a picnic and something warm to drink while we watch the sunset. Bring snowshoes, walking poles and a torch or a headlight.
MEETING POINT: down at telecabine La Berneuse 16h, by the ticket booth. Remember, last one up at 16h30. Be aware of traffic due to holiday swap in the Alps, consider alternative driving routes.

If we are more than 5 will make two groups and walk with some distance.
