Vevey - Morning Hike Les Pléiades

The hike:
Leaving the Motalles car park, we will walk across an Alpine bog (on boards) where we can see some interesting carnivorous plants. We then go across open countryside then hike up to the top of Les Pléiades.
Short stop for refreshments on the way up or at the top (or both).
We will do a circular route. Up about 300m elevation and down again. Around 2.5 hours +/- 30 minutes of walking plus a bit of time for stops.
13.00- 13.30 Return Vevey
Things to bring:
Hiking shoes, water, snacks, sunglasses, hat (for rain or sun), rain-mac in case.
Hiking poles optional – will help on the steep downhills.
A smile & good humour.
Meeting:
Meet at the Les Motalles car park on the road to Lally at 09.45.
For those without a car, I will have some space in my car (check availability with me before) and can pick up from Vevey train station at 09.15 (meet at the front).
We will then drive up the hike start location.
