longer countryside walk: Sierne-Reignier along the Arve

Hello,
The weather forecast is rather good for Saturday, so let's go for a longer walk!
We will meet at bus stop Pont-Sierne, from where we will leave at 10h30 sharp (you can take bus 8 from Cornavin station direction Veyrier-Tournettes at 10h37 or from Rive at 10h44, for more connections see http://www.tpg.ch).
We will walk along the Arve river, crossing the border after about 1 km (take your passport along). We will continue to follow the river for about the first two hours, then make our way slightly up to take small country roads towards Reignier. Good views over the region. We will pass by the Pierre-aux-Fées dolmen and/or Rocailles erratic rocks.
From Reignier, we will take the 17h00 train to Annemasse, with correspondence to the 61 bus to Geneva Cornavin station. The train ticket is around 3 Euros (have coins or a credit card with you). Expect to be back in Geneva around 18h00.
Total length of the walk: about 17 km (register only if you are confident that you can walk such a distance).
Take along food and drinks for the picnic, some Euros and decent walking shoes (mountain shoes are not needed).
Maximum 20 participants, register only if you are sure to attend.
