Snowshoe hike to Tête de la Combaz

On Sunday, March15,2020 if the weather is ok, I organize a snowshoe hike to Tête de la Combaz, 2445m, in Beaufortin massif. This summit, at the Sud of Mont Joly, offers a great panoramic view over the Mont Blanc chain, Beaufortin, Aravis etc….
We start from Baptieu (2200 m, Contamines Montjoie). Through the Chalet de Collombaz and the Alpine Pastures arrive at summit.
Down by same way with small variants.
Elevation gain 1245m. Distance 14 km. For very sporty hikers. Maximum 12 peoples.

We meet at Veyrier Douane , final stop of bus n° 8. at 7:30. Inscription is obligatory.
Gears: Good mountain boot, snowshoe, warm and waterproof clothes, Gaiter hat, glove, stick, drink, picnic, etc. ...
Formalities: The newcomers are asked to fill out the registration form

and deliver it to the organizer on Sunday morning.

There is a participation fee of 5 Euro for a daily license of the French hiking federation FFRP.
Passengers in the vehicle pay directly to the driver € 0.10 per km.

If on Sunday the weather is bad and on Saturday is better w'll do it on Saturday.
