What is this outing about?
Weather forecasts for Saturday are excellent: if you are you looking for adventure, then join us for a sports climbing day at La Duchère. The spot is close to Les Contamines-Montjoie, 75km from Geneva (1h driving time). It is at 1300m and W oriented, so we can climb in fresh conditions despite the forecasted hot day.

Where will we climb?
The crag includes about 100 equipped single and multipitches for sports climbing distributed in 8 sectors, ranging from beginners grade 4, to intermediate 5, advanced 6, and even expert 7 and 8. All sectors are about 10min walking time from the parking lot.
That's really a great playground in a wonderful environment, close to a lake where you can swim.

What do you need to bring?
-Climbing shoes
-Harness (I have 1 spare)
-Helmet (I have 1 spare)
-Simple rope if any (I have 1x70m, 2x60m)
-About 10 quickdraws (I can lend some)
-Belay device+carabiner
-Drinks and snacks
-Sun cream
-Passport/visa (La Duchère is in France)
