Hiking with dogs -December Edition - Peney-Dessous, GE Picture
Sunday, December 13th, 2020 @ 10:00
Peney-Dessous, Geneva

************COVID-19 restrictions in CH - I will close the event to RSVP as soon as there are 5 people confirmed to attend across the different platforms where this event is being advertised (Facebook and meetup.com) If you can no longer attend please update your RSVP as soon as possible to allow others to join.

In the interest of allowing as many dogs and owners to join, please let me know in advance if you plan to bring friends/partners/children as we are still restricted to gatherings of 5 people maximum.

Masks are not obligatory as we will be in nature and not in crowded places, however please maintain a distance of 1.5m at all times during the walk. ***************

We will meet in the public car park on Route d'Aire-la-ville. GPS coordinates for the parking is 46°11'56.4"N 6°02'40.7"E Alternatively, the sat nav address is Route d'Aire-la-Ville 128 1242 Satigny. It is a fairly large parking (50 spaces or so) next to the river so should be easy to find. Alternatively you can reach the walk by taking buses S or 54 to Satigny, Peney-Dessous stop.

The route will be a flat loop around Satigny/Peney-Dessous, lasting around 2 hours. Meeting at 10:00 am on Sunday 13th December.

Disclaimer:
Please only come if your dog is -
- Old enough to walk for 2 hours (no puppies under the age of 10 months, unless you're able to carry them) - Friendly with other dogs - Obedient (good recall, particularly in situations where we may come across wild animals/livestock) - In good health (no diarrhoea, coughing, limping, after an operation, etc)

Owners are responsible for their own dogs. Geneva hiking with dogs is a voluntary group and cannot be held responsible for any accidents/incidents during one of its walks. There are times when we will be close to roads/on the road and you will be asked to keep your dog to heel or on lead in high risk areas.

If your dog is exhibiting antisocial behaviour you will be asked to put your dog on a lead.

Please let me know in advance if your dog has any behavioural issues i.e. Fear of larger dogs, dominance, etc and we can agree if your dog can join but be kept on a lead, muzzled etc.
