Strol along the Versoix river: meet-up 9h00

As it will be warm coming Saturday, we will walk through the forest and make an early start. We will discover the Versoix river, its little canals and the Versoix forest.
We will meet at Cornavin railway station, platform 1, at 09h00, and take the 09h15 train which brings us to the small town of Versoix in 15 minutes (the regular 3 CHF Geneva public transport tickets and monthly or yearly Unireso passes are also valid in this train). You can also join us in Versoix or get on the train at any of the intermediate stations.
Most of the walk will be along the Versoix canal and river in the direction of Sauverny. We will then make our way back over another trail through the forest.
The hike is about 10 km and almost flat. We will stop for a picnic - take food and drinks along, plus something to sit on. We will take it easy and walk for about 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Expect to be back in town around 13h00.
Maximum 15 participants - please sign up only if you are sure to attend.
