Geneva Scuba Group dive no. 822
Saturday, August 13th, 2022 @ 08:00
Hermance Plage, Lake Leman, Geneva
This is an exploration dive with scooters at Hermance Plage, Lac Leman.
Maximum depth 50m.
Staged decompression dive.
Gases: Bring gases appropriate for narcosis, oxygen toxicity and gas density. We will have 30 minutes of staged compression with nitrox 50.
If any divers are "recovered" sars-cov-2 carriers then seek advice from your doctor about scuba diving before joining. There have been some concerning stories of individuals who were infected, yet asymptomatic until they dived.
The water is warm at the surface (24-23°C), but the temperature drops rapidly with depth. 6°C at 40m. There is a strong thermocline that wanders between 15 - 20m. Bring appropriate exposure protection (dry suit), hood, gloves.
A primary lamp is required. A backup lamp is highly recommended and is mandatory for night dives.
Arrive at 0800.
Diving specific insurance (e.g. DAN) is mandatory.
If you have any questions then feel free to post them below.
Cheers,
Richard
