This walk will take us through the countryside and vineyards.

The walk starts and ends in La Plaine, Switzerland but most of it is in France so take an ID along. We will start in direction Dardagny but then turn left towards Challex. We dontinue towards Pougny but then go down to take a trail along the Rhône river back to La Plaine.

The walk is about 13 km long and has a total gradient of 280 m.

We will meet at Cornavin railway station, platform 5, at 09h10. Platform 5 is at the south end of the station between platforms 4 and 6. We take the RER train which leaves at 9h18 (your monthly pass or regular public transport ticket is also valid in this train). We get off at La Plaine station, the last stop - arrival 09h37. You can also join us at La Plaine if that is more convenient.

We will have a picnic on the way - take food and drinks along, plus something to sit upon.
