These days, digital images are all around us. But where does this technology come from, what are the origins of the moving image? Spend a Saturday afternoon discovering two hands-on workshops on the origins of photography and the basics of cinema through animation, then enjoy an open-air screening of the film Hugo Cabret, a feature by Martin Scorsese about the joys of the mechanics and the secrets of cinema from its inception at the beginning of the 20th century. Event organized in collaboration with the Ville de Grand-Saconnex.

CineGlobe is collaborating with Ciné en plein air for an evening in the courtyard of the Ferme Pommier. Sun loungers and a refreshment bar will be available for a fee. Barbecues are not permitted.
