Wanted: Volunteers for “Feed the Needy” of Geneva

What’s going on: We are looking for volunteers to work in our soup kitchen help feed the homeless and needy of Geneva. No French language ability required!

When: From 08h30 until 14h00 (most volunteers needed 09h00-12h00)

Where: In an old converted restaurant, just behind the Cornavin railway station in Geneva. Its called the Jardin Montbrilliant. Opposite the white Hotel Montbrilliant behind the Gare.

How: We start with a trip to the local shops to buy groceries and then prepare and cook the meal, which is supervised by our master chefs. We serve our 200+ hungry guests at 11:30am -1pm and then clear up (pas de panique, they wash their own dishes ;-). Afterwards the volunteers relax together over a drink or a meal.

Please note to help us organise the activity better:

- The number of volunteers is limited because of kitchen space.
- We ask for a MIN donation of 20 francs (30chf for those who can afford it) to help pay for groceries
- If you would like to donate more or help fundraise please contact us.

- Please be patient as confirmations are sent midweek.
- Apologies for any confusion, this is a volunteer activity.
